Live.Learn.Love Notebook (a wedding souvenir)

what could be more exciting than a best-friend wedding??
it could be even more exciting when we can take part on this happy day!

me and my partner, Ojan, been asked to make a wedding souvenir for our best-friend Nike and Yudha (or sometimes i call him "Dimins" :p) They're married in March 5th, and wants to make a simple yet not-too-common wedding souvenir. So after a brief conversation via e-mail, a little notebook seems to be just perfect.

And here are the result. a little notebook with pattern cover. the pattern design contains icons of things that represent the newlywed. there's a camera, headphone, clapper, and a series of words says Live.Learn.Love.

the paper-ring

paper-bag as the packaging

red notebook

550 notebooks for the wedding souvenirs

the wedding souvenirs in all four colors

*go here to see the notebook's details!

so glad to know that the newlywed loves their wedding souvenirs a lot. and we also received lots appreciation about the work from people who came to the wedding party, it was really delightful! thank you so so so so very muchooo ^^

Happy wedding, Nike and Yudha. have a great adventure together :)

hand-stiched chusion for Sita

another fun project with cotton yarns!
my friend Sita wants to give a special holiday gift for her boyfriend's parents
and she asked me to help her.

Since her boyfriend's parents are not Indonesian and lived in Australia, so i came up with this idea. 4 hand-stitched cushions that represent the beauty of Indonesia :)

and here it is. it got Batik Parang, Borobudur, Si Cepot, and Monas, hand-stitched on it.

they're looked quite nice, dont you think? :D
i think i'll have some for myself...hehe

Thank you Sita, hope your boyfriend's parents love it

Play Your Magic Hands!

whoa!
whatta great opportunity given by FoodFezt to me and my partner, Ojan.

but before i jumped into that "great opportunity", if you dont mind, let me introduce a little work i do with partners, Ojan and Mas Aris.

we call this "OJANTO" a name or you may call it a brand, that represent our passion in doing a creative DIY Project. have a quick look here, and get to know more about what im talking about :D
this is a very much fun craft project! and i do hope that the work will last and go bigger, because this is one of our way to wake the dream and make it real!

it feels beyond happy when some people come to us and appreciating what we do in OJANTO. it does lead us to a new opportunity, a great one!

so when FoodFezt offering us to do some craft workshop there, we didn't think twice, we were like "okay, lets do this!"

here you go, Play Your Magic Hands - a DIY Project Workshop, will be held every Tuesday at FoodFezt, a well-know restaurant in Yogyakarta.

no, we're not doing a lesson thingy or something, we basically ask you to come to have some fun and do some DIY craft project together. this is going to be sooooo much fun :)

and oh, no need to grab your purse, because this is a free workshop, everyone can join us. just bring friends and lets PLAY THE MAGIC HANDS!

see you there!
:)
